Our Mission at Happy Dogs Zone is to present our readers with the most informative content they need to become better dog owners for their furry buddies.

Our Story

We are a group of animal lovers who we are dedicated to the welfare of all animals with a special emphasis on Dogs. We are delighted to provide owners and dog lovers more information about this special breed.

Our first Terrier was a golden red Cairn Terrier and it was love at first glance in the adoption center. Our hearts went out to all the beautiful pups there and we knew immediately we wanted to do more to help.

We educated ourselves on the many diverse breeds – as well as all dogs in general and slowly became certified in dog training. With over 350 hours practicing we have used our talents and skills to help re-home many, many of these furry babies.

Volunteering has become our passion as well helping to educate others about ways to care for pets in a loving a kind manner. Any dog can become mans- or woman’s best friend. Let us show you how!

Laurel Nanne is the owner and primary writer for this website. She and her husband, Calvin, own a lively Rat Terrier named Duck, whom she writes about often.

Calvin is a Certified Dog Trainer and has been published in other online publications about dog ownership and regularly contributes to HappyDogsZone as well.

Our research goes through a rigorous process to ensure accuracy and excellence. On all dog health-related matters, we consult with several veterinarians and animal experts.

Also on staff are three other fantastic writers, social media enthusiasts, and dog owners. Lisa, Maddy, and Sarah enjoy writing about their experiences, product reviews, and breed faqs.

The teams strives to provide the best information possible to help you make informed decisions on products, dog food, training guides, and health issues.
